Hey! I’m Jennifer Campbell, but you can call me Jent. I’m a lot of things to a lot of people. I am a mom to three amazing adults, a mother-in-law, a wife, a farmer, an author, a freelance writer, a podcaster, a nap taker, a porch sitter, a pie-cake-cookie lover, a donut connoisseur, and a Twitter addict.

I live and farm with my family in central Indiana where we raise corn, soybeans, wheat, hogs, and cattle.

I grew up on a farm, so ag is in my nature. It’s my way of life. It’s what I do and there’s always a lot to do.

When I’m not trying to balance between being a wife, daughter, and mother, and washing barns, hauling manure, carting grain, and planting soybeans, I’m here blogging my heart out at Farmwife feeds.

Farmwife Feeds is my little space to share farm life and home-cooked recipes, from my soul to yours. These are the recipes I cook that my family eats. And while you’re here, stay awhile and see some of the farm. I share what’s real, muddy boots and all, so what you see is what you get. Sometimes you’ve just gotta lay down on the dirty kitchen floor for a good cry.

Farmwife Feeds is about great food, good stories, and a whole lot of heart.

You can also find me writing a lifestyle column for DTN – Progressive Farmer, podcasting with Kelsey and Karen on our show Girls Talk Ag, and hey! Did I mention that I wrote a children’s book? Meet Pete is a true story about a special calf born right on our farm.

My favorite posts!

So what are you waiting for? Take off your boots and let’s eat!
