So glad I found your recipe! The only way I could figure out how to do it was to add the cherries but was afraid the cake might fall. My mom made her angelfood cakes from scratch for years and she would even let us in the kitchen until it was hanging upside down she was so afraid it would fall….and then they came out with the mixes!
