Super Easy Banana Bread

- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas approximately 5 med. bananas
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- Optional: walnuts pecans chocolate chips - approximately 1/4 cup
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
Mash your bananas with your mixer, add eggs and oil or melted butter - mix well.
Add dry ingredients to banana mixture and combine well - batter may be lumpy, that is fine.
Stir in any optional ingredients.
Pour batter into a greased 9x5x3 bread pan and bake for approximately 1 hour at 350 degrees, check the center with a toothpick for doneness.
Cool on a wire rack if you can wait that long!
