Cranberry Whiskey Sour

A festive holiday spin on the traditional cocktail.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ounces bourbon
  • 3 ounces lemon juice
  • 3 ounces cranberry simple syrup
  • 4 Tablespoons egg whites
  • ice
  • rosemary sprig for garnish
  • sugar-coated cranberries for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add the first four ingredients -your favorite bourbon, lemon juice, cranberry simple syrup and egg whites -to a cocktail shaker or jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  • Shake to thoroughly combine and to be sure the egg white is incorporated.
  • Pour into a glass full of ice.
  • Garnish with a rosemary sprig and some sugar-coated fresh cranberries.

Notes

This is a dry shake cocktail, because of the egg whites. That simply means that there is no ice in the cocktail shaker, it ensures and allows the egg white to thoroughly combine for a frothy foamy outcome.
