Measure out your 2 cups of Jasmine rice and rinse it. Using a bowl or a strainer rinse the rice until the water runs clear.
Making sure your Instant Pot is cold add the 2 cups of water, then add the 2 cups of rinsed rice - don't stir but make sure the rice is all under the water.
Put on the Instant Pot lid and move the knob to seal. Switch from HIGH pressure to LOW pressure and set the timer for 7 minutes.
Once your 7 minutes is up allow to natural release for 10 minutes, then turn the knob to unseal and release the remaining pressure - carefully remove the lid and fluff rice with a fork to serve.

I have only ever used Jasmine rice for this recipe so I can't speak to how well other types of rice work.Jasmine is a sweeter taste and is a stickier grain.
