Course chop the cranberries, I put mine in my small food processor for a couple of whirls
Add the chopped cranberries, orange zest, and water to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, once simmering turn down the heat to low and allow to simmer for 20 minutes
Once done simmering place a fine-mesh strainer over a bowl and carefully pour the cranberries into the strainer and stir around straining as much as you can - should have about a cup of juice - discard the cranberries
Once strained add the sugar to the juice and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved - if it has cooled to much you can place back on the stove to heat up just till the sugar dissolves
Allow to cool completely and place in your bottles or a ball jar. Keep in the refrigerator
