Simple Creamy Cole Slaw Dressing

The perfect homemade creamy slaw dressing to use on fresh garden cabbage or a bag of pre-cut cole slaw mix.

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise use mayonnaise not salad dressing
  • 2 Tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 Tablespoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons celery salt
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth and well combined.
  • Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
  • When ready to use give a quick stir to combine, pour as much as you'd like over your shredded cabbage or pre-cut slaw mix.

Notes

If you are using Miracle Whip or a salad dressing instead of mayonnaise please taste before adding all the sugar.
Nutritional values are for the dressing alone, they do not include the cabbage and will depend on how much dressing you use.
This recipe is enough dressing for one head of shredded cabbage the way we like ours dressed.
