Perfect Pulled Pork

- 5 pound boneless pork butt shoulder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
Combine all seasonings in a small bowl and rub evenly over roast
Place meat in a 6 quart slow cooker
Add water and cover
Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours, until pork literally falls apart when a fork is stuck in it
Place pork on large cutting board, let rest for 10-15 minutes
Pull, slice or chop to serve
