Super easy homemade applesauce with cinnamon-make a little or make a lot, great for canning!

Homemade Applesauce



  • 6 apples peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
  • 2 Tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  • Add all the ingredients to a pan and stir.
  • Cook on medium heat until apples are fully cooked, soft and breaking apart-depending on apple type 30-45 minutes.
  • Put cooked mixture through a food mill and refrigerate.
