Freezer Sweet Corn



  • 1 gallon of corn cut off the cob
  • 1 quart water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar


  • Shuck, de-silk and cut corn off the cob.
  • Combine 1 gallon of corn, 1 quart of of water, 2 tsp of salt and 1 cup of sugar in a large pan. Once corn starts to warm allow to simmer for 10 minutes then place entire pan in a cold water bath (we use the sink) to cool enough to handle. Fill ziplock bags of your size choice with the amount of your choice. Seal squeezing excess air out and lay flat in freezer.
  • When ready to serve simply put frozen or thawed out corn in a pan and warm-don't forget to add butter!!
