Start by placing a metal bowl and either a hand whisk or your mixer whisk attachment into the freezer or refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
Add whipping cream to bowl and start mixer - add 1 Tablespoon of powdered sugar at a time while mixer is running - I love sweet whipped cream so I'm all in at 4 Tablespoons - but feel free to add less if you want.
Add in vanilla and continue to whisk until mixture thickens and you have medium soft peaks! 3-4 minutes approximately from start to finish.
Store in the refrigerator or eat immediately.
