Oven Baked Pork and Beans
A great side dish for any meal or contribution to a pitch-in barbeque. This recipe is easily doubled or tripled, but small enough for a family meal.
- 1 28 ounce can pork and beans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 Tablespoons ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
- 2-3 glugs Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 small onion
- 5-6 slices bacon
Mix all of the ingredients in an oven-safe dish, cover with foil or lid.
Bake in 350° pre-heated oven for 1-1½ hours, till beans have thickened, onions are soft and bacon cooked. About 20 minutes before they are done take the lid or foil off to brown the top!
