An easy, creamy caramel apple dip - perfect for fall parties or after-school snacks

- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Melt butter over low heat in a medium saucepan.
Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup. Cook until the sugar dissolves and begins to caramelize.
Add the sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens slightly and small bubbles form around the edge.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract until smooth and glossy.
Serve immediately (careful - it's hot) or pour into a small crockpot on "warm" to keep smooth and dippable.
This recipe yields about 3 cups of Caramel Dip!
