Caramel Apple Dip

An easy, creamy caramel apple dip - perfect for fall parties or after-school snacks

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter over low heat in a medium saucepan.
  • Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup. Cook until the sugar dissolves and begins to caramelize.
  • Add the sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens slightly and small bubbles form around the edge.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract until smooth and glossy.
  • Serve immediately (careful - it's hot) or pour into a small crockpot on "warm" to keep smooth and dippable.

Notes

This recipe yields about 3 cups of Caramel Dip!
Serve with: sliced apples, graham crackers, pretzels
