Popcorn is the ultimate carrier for all the yummy flavors. In this case, it carries funfetti cake powder, marshmallow fluff, white chocolate and sprinkles! All the sprinkles and flavors are like an explosion of fun!
Marshmallow Funfetti Popcorn
Let’s talk sprinkles. While I love all the sprinkles, I don’t love the brown ones in rainbow jimmies! I love my brown cow sprinkles, so it’s not the color brown. I just don’t like the brown jimmies dragging down my rainbow vibe.
To make this I almost always use a movie butter microwave popcorn. The regular size bags make approximately 8 cups of popped popcorn so it works out perfectly.
Also, let’s be real, Funfetti cake mix is just white cake with sprinkles already in the mix. So there is really no need to specifically buy Funfetti, white cake mix will totally work! We are adding all the extra sprinkles anyway!!
And don’t forget to salt your popcorn! You want this to be a sweet-salty snack and you want that salt to be on the popcorn before you cover it with marshmallow!

Marshmallow Funfetti Popcorn
Ingredients
- 8 cups popped popcorn that's one bag of microwave popcorn
- salt
- 7 ounce jar of marshmallow fluff / marshmallow creme
- 1/4 cup funfetti cake mix the dry cake mix, NOT prepared
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup sprinkles
Instructions
- Place popped popcorn into a large bowl and salt to taste!
- Put the marshmallow fluff/creme in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave until melted/easy to pour - heat 10-15 seconds at a time, until it's easy enough to pour over the popcorn. quickly stir in the cake mix powder
- Quickly stir the cake mix powder into the melted marshmallow and drizzle over the popped popcorn and stir to coat popcorn.
- Scatter out popped popcorn on a lined cookie sheet and sprinkle sprinkles all over while the marshmallow is still sticky.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave 15-20 seconds at a time until fully melted, then drizzle over the popcorn.
- Eat right away or store in an airtight container if there happens to be any left!
