This Ladies and Gentleman, this lemonade that we call MiMi’s Lemonade is the best lemonade ever. Yes I said it and yes I believe it!
Who is MiMi? Well her name is actually Barb but her grandkids and most of the kids around here call her MiMi and she is gracious enough to let them!
See those red barns just beyond the wheat, that’s where her and her husband Claude live! Yes beautiful red barns, beautiful old trees surround their gorgeous home and her landscaping……to die for! Top that all off with the fact that the farm has been in her family for generations, well it’s an ideal setting for a cold glass of lemonade and a wonderful conversation with her!
She is one of the sweetest people on the face of this earth and while people often stop by her house for a great visit and hopes of getting a cold glass of MiMi’s Lemonade she also shared the recipe with me some years ago.
Although I’ll be honest it’s always just a little bit sweeter and little bit colder and a little bit more refreshing when she makes it and serves it because it’s hers!
