There is no gluing, no painting, most likely no cussing in frustration either – which to me, is one of the most important things when crafting!

1.Find a frame – big,or medium; painted, stained, natural – any frame that tickles your fancy!

I’m choosing this old frame my Grandpa made out of barn wood! But Hobby Lobby has tons to choose from or honestly if I had to buy one I would go to Good Will! Even if it still had something in it you can just throw that part away.

2. Twine! I love twine and rope – it’s natural color goes with everything and has that rustic farmhouse look everyone is raving about right now.

I used this thicker natural jute rope and a thinner twine. Honestly that’s what I had laying around, most likely from some other craft I never finished. One size will work if you don’t want to buy different sizes or you already have some in your craft stash!

3. Clothespins – I already had just plain old wooden clothespins so that’s what I used. But Amazon has tons of cuter choices if that’s your jam!

Now all you do is start wrapping the rope and twine around the frame, I used the bigger rope as accent around the outside of the frame and the twine the frame to hang the cards on.Easy DIY Christmas Card Display from Farmwife Feeds, an easy Christmas craft to display those cards from friends and family! #DIY #christmascraft #christmas

We are aiming for rustic and easy, so don’t stress over this. Plus where you. are tying is the back!

Next I took the twine and criss crossed across the middle of the frame a few times to have several strands for hanging cards!

Then I turned it around and admired my work!

I added the clothespins and then as cards arrived I was able to display them for all to see!

I love all the natural color about this because now if I want I can leave it up all year around. Print some of those million everyday pictures on your phone and display them. Dress it up for each holiday if you want or only use it at Christmas!
