Unpopular opinion here but I’m not a fan of traditional hot cocoa. I’m not sure why, but I just can’t get on board with it! But make it white hot chocolate and I’m all in!

It’s taken me years to perfect this recipe. There are lots out there but to get one to taste just like I wanted took me some time!

Super easy to make a steaming hot cup of white hot chocolate loaded with whipped cream and sprinkles! Sure to make anyone smile!

Recipe Tips:

  • You can make this with water as there is powdered milk in the dry mix but I use milk, so you should too!
  • White Chocolate powder is kind of hard to find. I love Ghiradelli and it will last a long time and can be ordered on Amazon.
  • If you want to skip the pudding you can, but I wouldn’t! It’s already an indulgent drink so just go for it!
  • Get a frother! They are inexpensive and give drinks that fancy coffee shop feel!

I also love to use my White Chocolate Sauce to make white hot chocolate if I have some on hand. But this dry mix I can make in bulk and store in an airtight container all winter.

Homemade White Hot Chocolate Mix

A delicious mix of ingredients for decadent homemade white hot chocolate any time you want!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups powdered milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup powdered creamer (I use french vanilla)
  • ⅔ cup white chocolate powder
  • 1 3 ounce box white chocolate pudding

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl stirring until all ingredients are incorporated well and no lumps
    If you feel like it is not incorporating very well you can run it through the blender in small batches, or put it in a sealable container and shake well.
  • Store in an air-tight container.
  • When ready to make some combine 1/3 cup of mixture with 1 cup of boiling milk or water - top with whipped cream and sprinkles!
